The Heartwarming Journey of Miaplus7 Founders, Ingrid and Steve

Meet Ingrid and Steve, the founders of Miaplus7, whose journey began in 2014 when they embarked on a retirement adventure to Bulgaria, seeking serenity and a chance to give back.

Their story took a poignant turn when a stray dog named Mia entered their lives, pregnant and resilient despite the hardships of survival. Mia soon gave birth to four precious puppies, marking the start of their journey with Miaplus5.

Tragedy struck again when Woolfie, a larger dog, was tragically hit by a car. In his final moments, he lay beside a small dog, and Ingrid and Steve welcomed her into their family, expanding Miaplus5 to Miaplus7.

As street dog populations continued to rise, Ingrid and Steve faced the challenge head-on, welcoming abandoned puppies into their home and finding loving homes for some while caring for others themselves.

They’ve been funding their efforts with their own resources and donations, but with a growing list of street dogs in need of spaying and neutering, they rely on our continued support.

Thanks to your generous donations, we’ve been able to assist Miaplus7 with vital funds to expand their kennel facilities and continue their spaying and neutering efforts in Borovtsi, Bulgaria.

Ingrid and Steve have shared updates with our community, highlighting the impact of your donations. Your support, whether through following, sharing stories, or contributing to our cause, empowers us to amplify their voices and raise essential funds for their work.

Every penny donated goes directly to supporting animal rescue shelters. Join us in making a difference in the lives of animals in need.
