Support Neang’s Tireless Work to Care for Street Dogs at Jai Dog Rescue
A Shelter from the Scorching Sun
Since its founding in 2017, Jai Dog Rescue has offered a safe haven for street dogs, nestled in the lush fields of a working farm on the outskirts of Nakhon Nayok, Thailand. Their mission is to transform the lives of these vulnerable animals through vital sterilization, vaccination, rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming efforts.

At the heart of Jai Dog Rescue is Neang, a 70-year-old caretaker who tirelessly works to care for the dogs. Each day, despite her limited resources and the challenges of the monsoon season, Neang rises early to prepare food over an open charcoal fire. But when heavy rains come, keeping the fire going is difficult, often leaving the dogs without meals. With her meager pension, she relies on rice mixed with leftovers, which falls short of providing the essential nutrition the dogs need.

We need your help to ease Neang’s burden and ensure these street dogs receive the nourishment and care they deserve:
- A regular supply of nutritious dog food
- A large pot with a lid to prevent eager dogs from getting into the food
- Ongoing flea, tick, and worming treatments
Thanks to generous supporters, we’ve already raised £2,200 toward our £5,000 goal, which has helped provide Neang with a new bike and sidecar for easier transportation. But we still need your help to reach our target and provide Neang and the dogs with the additional support they desperately need.
Every contribution makes a difference. Together, let’s make Neang’s work easier and give these street dogs the care they deserve.
