Power of One Stories

Sia’s Stand for Animal Welfare

Sia is known around the world for her music, but what many may not realise is her long-standing commitment to animal welfare.

At Power of One, we know how important it is to have influential voices standing alongside rescue workers and shelters. Awareness is often the first step toward action. When artists, actors, and public figures use their platforms to highlight animal welfare, it brings hidden issues to light and inspires others to care.

A Voice for Animals

Sia has used her platform to speak up for animals in powerful ways:

  • Partnered with PETA to promote spaying and neutering as a vital step in ending animal overpopulation.
  • Donated her song “Free the Animal” to a bold PETA campaign challenging the fashion industry’s use of animal skins.
  • Turned her 2016 Nostalgic for the Present Tour into a platform for good by hosting adoption fairs at her shows, giving rescue animals a chance to find homes.
  • Recorded a moving cover of Peter Gabriel’s “Solsbury Hill” for Humane World for Animals, with all proceeds supporting their mission to end cruelty worldwide.

The Power of Influence

When influential voices use their reach to raise awareness, they help build momentum for lasting change. Sia’s advocacy shows how compassion and creativity can work hand in hand to protect and uplift animals across the world.

But real change does not happen through celebrity voices alone. It happens when communities, supporters, and individuals choose to see, choose to share, and choose to act.

Together, We Make a Difference

Every voice has power. Every share sparks awareness. Every act of compassion helps change a life.

❤️ Every voice matters. Every action counts.
