It All Started With One Application

It All Started With One Application

A Rescue Story That Reached the World

One Small Step That Changed Everything

When Liam Gallagher submitted an adoption form for a rescue dog in Thailand, few believed it was real. Even Niall Harbison, the founder of Happy Doggo Sanctuary in Koh Samui, assumed it must be a prank.

But it wasn’t.

The application was genuine. The intention was sincere. And what followed was something extraordinary.

Meet Buttons

Buttons was just five months old when she was found abandoned in the Thai jungle. She was injured, frightened, and completely alone. Rescuers brought her to safety, gave her medical care, and surrounded her with love. But like so many dogs in shelters around the world, she needed a permanent home.

Liam said yes.

He filled out the form. He followed through. He opened his home and his heart to a dog who had once been left to die.

A Life Transformed

Today, Buttons lives more than 6,000 miles from the jungle where she was found. She is safe, adored, and thriving.

She runs alongside Liam on his morning jogs. She travels with him. She was even honoured on stage during this year’s Oasis reunion performances.

But this story is not about celebrity.

It is about the power of a single decision. The impact of one compassionate act. The reminder that no matter who you are, choosing to rescue can change a life.

The Power of One

At Power of One, we believe change always starts with a single step.

One form. One message. One act of kindness.

Liam’s choice to adopt Buttons is more than a good deed. It sends a powerful message that rescue is not just an option. It is a statement. A stand for second chances.

Well done, Liam. You didn’t just adopt a dog. You helped show the world that rescue is rock and roll.
