Help WarPaws Provide Relief in the Scorching Heat of Iraq

In Iraq, temperatures are soaring above 46°C (115°F), creating life-threatening conditions for countless dogs in desperate need. WarPaws is stepping in as a vital lifeline, offering sanctuary from the relentless heat where natural shade is scarce.

A Shelter from the Scorching Sun

The shelter WarPaws has created is more than just a place to rest—it’s a critical refuge. Here, dogs find safety from the burning sun and access to makeshift cooling pools, essential for their survival. However, these temporary plastic tubs are far from ideal.

A Call to Action: Help Us Build Permanent Cooling Pools

As part of our larger fundraising campaign, we are aiming to replace these temporary tubs with 21 sturdy, permanent pools. These durable pools will ensure that every dog has a safe, cool place to hydrate and play during the scorching summer months. But this initiative is just one aspect of WarPaws’ broader mission.

WarPaws’ Commitment: Enhancing the Shelter

WarPaws is dedicated to improving every aspect of the shelter to provide the best possible care for these animals. Your support is essential to keep this mission alive. By donating, you are not just contributing to these vital projects; you are helping to create a sanctuary where these dogs can truly thrive.

How You Can Help

WarPaws needs your help now more than ever. Your donations are crucial in fueling these incredible rescue efforts, ensuring that they can continue their life-saving work even in the most challenging conditions.
