Discover More About War Paws

Creating a Safe Haven in Iraq

In the heart of Iraq, War Paws is dedicated to creating a safe haven for over 700 dogs. Here’s how we make a difference every day:

Free Roaming

95% of dogs roam freely within carefully selected groups, promoting companionship and reducing stress.

Nutritious Meals

Fresh meals are prepared daily to meet the dogs’ nutritional needs, supplemented by commercial food donations from the UK.

Community Care

War Paws provide medical care and feed dogs within a 0.5-mile radius, ensuring no animal goes without.

Creative Play Stations

Recycled materials are transformed into play stations, encouraging physical activity and mental stimulation.

On-Site Clinic

War Paws clinic operates seven days a week, offering essential vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and medical treatment.

Cooling Measures

War Paws use paddling pools, shaded areas, and swamp coolers to protect the animals from the scorching Iraqi summers.

Our Goals

With your support, we aim to build 23 shelters with runs and 5 crucial airlocks. These are not mere structures but sanctuaries of safety and solace.

We also plan to replace plastic tubs with 21 sturdy pools, providing spaces for cooling and play in the scorching heat.

How You Can Help

Donate today and help us reach our £25,000 target!

Every penny raised will go directly to War Paws, ensuring that we can continue our vital work.

Check out our campaign for WarPaws here.

Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of these animals.
