In June 2023 a remarkable fundraising event, The MAC Fight Night – “High Stakes,” took place, leaving a lasting impact on everyone involved. The event was a testament to the power of compassion and unity as it successfully raised an impressive £1673.63 for the Power of One. 

The Power of One is a platform that provides a voice and connection for small charities and teams worldwide, allowing them to address the critical issues of animal neglect, abuse, and abandonment. The Power of One empowers you to directly witness the desperate cases and challenging situations that these dedicated teams face on a daily basis. By connecting you with individual cases, you have the opportunity to make a tangible difference and witness the transformative power of your support.

The MAC Fight Night – “High Stakes” was an electrifying evening filled with action-packed moments that will be etched in our memories forever. The highlight of the event was Rachel Faulkner’s soul-stirring performance of Carrie Underwood’s “Change.” Her beautiful rendition added an extra layer of meaning, touching the hearts of everyone present. We express our deepest gratitude to Rachel Faulkner for her mesmerising talent and heartfelt contribution to the event.

The overwhelming success of the fundraising event is a testament to the power of compassion within our community. Each pound donated helps to support Back 2 Life dog rescue and the remarkable women behind the scenes. Your donations play a vital role in providing the dogs in their care with crucial medical attention, nourishment, hydration, and warmth. This money also supports the well-being and mental health resilience of the rescue workers.

With this generous donation raised by the MAC, the total amount to date stands at an outstanding £4673.63, bringing us closer to our target of £6000

The stress and anxiety caused by financial worries on supporting the shelter on a weekly basis, along with the trauma they witness from the animals they rescue can take a toll.
