For over a decade, Pawpers in the Ruff has served as a lifeline for countless dogs in Macedonia. Founded by Marija and Ivana, they are the dedicated rescuers on the ground, driven by a mission that is both straightforward and profoundly impactful: to rescue dogs from dire conditions and provide them with the second chance they rightfully deserve.

The Turning Point: The Notorious Dump

A few years ago, destiny led Marija and Ivana to stumble upon the notorious dump where they now conduct many of their rescues. The scene they encountered was heart-wrenching: dogs in dire conditions, some starving, others neglected, all in need of urgent help. Despite the overwhelming challenges, Marija and Ivana knew they had a mission to fulfill.

600 Lives Saved and Counting

For over four years, Marija, Ivana, and our dedicated team have focused our efforts primarily on this very place – the notorious dump. Here, more than 600 lives have been saved, destinies changed, and dogs given a second chance at life.

Despite Challenges, We Persist

Though the challenges are immense, Marija and Ivana remain undeterred. Their passion for these animals fuels their determination, as they invest every ounce of energy, penny, and available moment into this mission.

How You Can Help

Now, Pawpers in the Ruff needs your support to continue our life-saving work.

Your contribution will help us provide shelter, comfort, and care for rescued animals. With your support, we aim to:

• Provide Shelter: We need 10 PVC kennels to offer comfort and security for rescued animals.
• Upgrade Infrastructure: Sewage system upgrades are necessary to ensure the well-being of both old and potentially new kennels.
• Expand Capacity: Additional dog houses will enhance the comfort and security of our existing and future residents.
• Support Our Team: Your contribution will fund a worker to assist Ivana and Marija for 12 months, ensuring they can continue their vital work.

Our Target: £11,500

Your support will ensure that Marija, Ivana, and the entire team at Pawpers in the Ruff can continue their vital work, bringing hope to animals in need. Your contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference.

Thank you for your support! 🐾
