Our Mission
We are on a mission to raise £15,000 for a team in Cairo led by the remarkable Hanan Deebes.
Their work is nothing short of heroic, as they confront some of the most heart-wrenching cases of animal cruelty we’ve ever encountered.
Hanan Deebes
Hanan Deebes is the founder of the Animal Protection Foundation (APF), an organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of street dogs in Cairo. Her unwavering commitment to these animals, often found in dire conditions, is nothing short of awe-inspiring.
Hanan and her team have treated, spayed, and neutered thousands of dogs since APF’s inception, and they currently provide care for over 2,000 dogs in Cairo.
Community Impact
Yet, Hanan’s impact reaches beyond the realm of animals. Her work has a profound effect on the entire community. By alleviating the suffering of street dogs and reducing their numbers, she contributes to a safer and more harmonious environment for all residents of Cairo.
