Please help us by donating to our campaign for Back 2 Life Dog Rescue, an organisation which rescues dogs in Lebanon founded by an incredible lady, Pascale, who left Lebanon to escape the war. Many of Pascale’s family were not able to escape and despite the continued danger, Pascale continued to visit her family and saw dogs brutally tortured, left to starve and poisoned and felt she had no choice but to try to help them with the little she had. While the sound of bombs is quiet today, the economic situation continues to be very difficult but despite this, Pascale and her daughter, built a sanctuary as best as they could and currently have over 45 dogs in their care. You can see from the video how little they have and we know how much your help would mean to these incredible ladies and the animals they look after. Their sanctuary is extremely basic and they desperately need your help. After everything these ladies have faced, all they need is a helping hand from you to help them to continue with their life-saving work and try to make things a little easier for them. With no money to pay more than one helper and a culture that does not cultivate or promote animal welfare or volunteering, the number of dogs these ladies see every day in need of medical attention, food, water and warmth, is heart-breaking. Pascale still faces frightening situations every day simply by trying to help and is often verbally abused and threatened with guns.
