Thanks to you our Power of One community, we’ve been able to support WarPaws, an organisation doing remarkable, often heartbreaking, work in some of the harshest conditions on Earth.
Hope on the Frontlines
WarPaws operates in Iraq, where conflict has left deep scars, not just on people, but on the animals who are so often the silent victims of war. Amid rubble and ruin, they step in. They rescue, rehabilitate, and restore a sense of safety to animals caught in the chaos. But their work isn’t just about survival.
It’s about dignity.
It’s about humanity.
It’s about rebuilding what conflict has tried to erase…..compassion.

Because of your support, four brand-new kennels have now been constructed, simple, solid structures that offer shade, warmth, safety, and a fresh start to dogs who have known nothing but fear and displacement.
These are more than just shelters. They are symbols of what happens when people choose to care. When kindness isn’t just felt, but acted on.
We recently received a video from the WarPaws team showing these kennels in use and it’s hard to watch without being moved.
