On Saturday, January 13, 2024, two incredible teams embarked on the challenging adventure of The English Channel Winter Relay Race 2024, and what an unforgettable journey it turned out to be!

Both teams showcased extraordinary determination, strength, and resilience, truly embodying the spirit of unity that makes our community exceptional.

Regrettably, the Women’s team encountered unexpected challenges with their boat, preventing them from completing the relay. We share in their disappointment, but it doesn’t diminish the magnitude of their achievement.

A massive congratulations is in order for the Men’s team, who completed the swim around 11:45 AM. John Myatt guided to the finish line by the safety boat, sealing this incredible achievement.

We have a treasure trove of footage and pictures from this inspiring swim, and we’re diligently working to compile them. This is our way of expressing our appreciation to all the swimmers, everyone involved, and those who generously donated to support our cause.
