Supporting Pawpers in the Ruff: Our Ongoing Commitment

At Power of One, we are committed to making a meaningful impact through real, lasting action.
As part of our ongoing campaign to support rescue initiatives, we’re proud to share that we have donated an additional £450 to Pawpers in the Ruff in Macedonia.

This latest contribution reflects our dedication to standing alongside organisations that work tirelessly to protect and care for animals in need.

About Pawpers in the Ruff

Pawpers in the Ruff is a vital rescue organisation led by Marija and Ivana, two remarkable women who have saved over 600 dogs from a notorious dump site where they were abandoned and left to fend for themselves.

Through their work and dedication, Pawpers in the Ruff has become a sanctuary for countless animals who would otherwise have no safe place to turn.

Why Support Is Needed Now More Than Ever

As Pawpers in the Ruff continues to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome stray and abandoned dogs, they are facing increasing challenges. The need for improved facilities and resources is urgent to ensure the health, safety, and future of the animals in their care.

Our latest donation will help fund critical improvements, including:

  • New kennels to provide shelter, security, and comfort for more dogs.
  • Upgraded infrastructure, including essential improvements to the shelter’s sewage system, creating a safer and more sustainable environment.
