Power of One's Campaign with Animal Friends of Turkey
Animal Friends of Turkey (AFOT) was established in May 2018 with a specific mission: to rescue dogs with little or no future in Turkey.
While Turkey is undeniably remarkable in many ways, some unfortunate animals face a bleak future due to prevalent attitudes leading to unacceptable levels of suffering.
Many dogs in Turkey endure unspeakable cruelty and abuse, while others are born on the streets or simply abandoned to fend for themselves. These animals rely on local charities, kind-hearted individuals, and even restaurants for survival.
In the coming weeks, we’re launching a campaign for Animal Friends of Turkey to double the sanctuary’s capacity, responding to the increasing number of stray dogs in need.
