On the rural edges of Kruger National Park, options are limited. For many young adults in the region, life paths can narrow quickly, especially when support systems fall away.

When we talk about impact, it’s easy to think in abstract terms, numbers, stats, or headlines. But real impact has a face. It has a heartbeat. It can be seen, felt, and sometimes even heard, in the bark of a rescued dog finally safe for the first time in its life.

At Power of One, we believe real change is built on small acts of kindness and sometimes, those acts take place across a table, one conversation at a time.
Over the bank holiday weekend, Kate Ward, Janet Ward, Elaine Hibbert, Grace, and Erin went above and beyond to support our mission. They organised and ran a tabletop sale at Dixons Brooklands Academy in Manchester, raising vital funds to help us continue the work we do.

We are proud to share that, thanks to your incredible support, we have been able to donate a further £450 to WarPaws in Iraq.

At Power of One, we are committed to making a meaningful impact through real, lasting action.
As part of our ongoing campaign to support rescue initiatives, we’re proud to share that we have donated an additional £450 to Pawpers in the Ruff in Macedonia.

In a world where proximity to nature doesn’t always mean a connection to it, something remarkable is happening.
HAART and Koru Camp are helping to change the narrative.

In Iraq, Oriana from WarPaws drives past countless dogs in desperate need. Every single day, she sees suffering dogs battling starvation, disease, and neglect. But recently, in an area she doesn’t usually visit, she made a heartbreaking discovery.

Saturday, 1st March, will go down as a defining moment for Steven Ward. Under the bright lights, in front of a roaring Belfast crowd, he stepped into the ring not just to fight but to make a statement and he delivered in spectacular fashion.

On fight night, “The Prospect” once again proved why he’s one of the most exciting fighters in the sport. Facing the formidable Morgan Charrière, Nathaniel showcased his trademark skill, heart, and determination, securing a dominant unanimous decision victory. With a flawless 30-27 scorecard across all judges, he left no doubt—this was his night.

We’re thrilled to celebrate Haart’s significant milestone in launching their first-ever KORU Camp Personal Development & Environmental Education Programme, an initiative dedicated to empowering young adults who face challenges in finding employment and are at risk of being drawn into wildlife crime.

Power of One Ambassador Dominic Dyer has been deeply moved by the extraordinary work of Pawpers in the Ruff, a rescue born from compassion, resilience, and an unshakable will to help animals in need.

For the animals of Rajasthan, India, that haven’t been so fortunate, TOLFA (Tree of Life for Animals) is their heaven — a place where love, care, and hope thrive. Here, the most vulnerable creatures are given a second chance at life, proving that compassion can truly transform even the direst circumstances.
