Ingrid and Steve, the dedicated minds behind Miaplus7, devote themselves tirelessly to educating Borovsti’s community on responsible pet care. Their commitment holds profound significance, especially considering the plight of many abandoned dogs, particularly those unsuitable for hunting or from nearby areas, left in dire need.

Recently, a pressing challenge emerged: the local community sought assistance in spaying three dogs. This plea echoed the positive impact of Ingrid and Steve’s educational endeavors. 

However, a financial obstacle surfaced, straining their carefully planned winter care budget, aimed at providing essential food, water, and shelter for the dogs under their guardianship.

Understanding the urgency of the situation, Ingrid and Steve turned to the Power of One for emergency funding. Thanks to the generous support received, a swift response ensured £200 was promptly provided. 

This crucial sum covered the expenses for spay procedures, pre-operative tests, heartworm checks, and essential parasite treatments.

Despite the challenges of conducting surgeries in extreme conditions, with temperatures plummeting to -6°C (imagine Borovsti’s bone-chilling -20°C winters!), two successful operations have been completed. With time pressing, the third operation is scheduled for this month before the temperatures drop further.
