For Ivana and Marija, the founders of Pawpers in the Ruff, that moment came when a wrong turn led them to a notorious dump site, a place of unimaginable suffering.

What they saw that day changed their lives forever. Among piles of waste, countless dogs were starving, sick, and barely clinging to life. It was a scene of pure heartbreak.

But instead of walking away, they chose to act.

Over 600 Lives Saved and Counting

From that moment on, Ivana, Marija, and their team have dedicated their lives to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs who would otherwise be forgotten.

To date, they have saved over 600 dogs, but their work is far from over.
