A Major Milestone for Animal Friends of Turkey
£1,600 Donated to Animal Friends of Turkey!
We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to your incredible generosity, we have donated an additional £1,600 to Animal Friends of Turkey (AFOT)! This recent contribution brings our total raised to an impressive £4,600.
Our Ongoing Goal
While we celebrate this achievement, we still have a way to go to reach our target of £9,000. Every bit of support counts, and your continued generosity is crucial to helping us meet this goal.
About Animal Friends of Turkey
Established in May 2018, AFOT is dedicated to rescuing dogs with little or no future in Turkey. Despite the country’s beauty and the presence of caring families who adopt pets, many dogs suffer from cruelty, abuse, or abandonment. These animals often rely on local charities, compassionate individuals, and restaurants for their survival.
How Your Support Helps
With the funds raised, AFOT aims to double their sanctuary’s capacity and provide ongoing care for an additional 25 dogs.
The expansion will include:
- A New Enclosure: Designed for play and socialization, enhancing the dogs’ quality of life.
- Expanded House Balcony and Garden Area: Creating a more home-like experience for the dogs.
- Two Large Enclosures with Secure Cabins: Offering individual spaces for comfort and further socialization.
