A Lifeline in Rural South Africa
Healthcare Where None Exists
HAART’s Outreach Health Clinic is a lifeline for two remote villages in rural South Africa, where dogs would otherwise have no access to healthcare. This is not about turning up once a month with vaccines. It is about being present, reliable, and committed to animals and the people who care for them.
What the Clinic Provides
- Essential and emergency care
- Treatment for the sick, the wounded, and the forgotten
- Education for owners so they can give better daily care
This combination of treatment and education does more than heal wounds. It builds trust, strengthens communities, and gives dogs a real chance at healthier lives.
Little John’s Story
Among the many dogs brought to the clinic was Little John, a young pup who had stopped eating and was fading fast from suspected tick bite fever. Left alone, he would have quietly slipped away. Instead, the team found him, treated him, and gave him a chance to recover.
Burns were cleaned. Wounds were dressed. Comfort was given where there had only been pain. Each intervention is a reminder that this work is not just a job. It is a calling.
The Power of Partnership
This outreach is possible thanks to support from partners like Global 2by2, who sponsored life-saving vaccinations against Parvovirus, Distemper, and Rabies. These vaccines protect not only dogs but also the communities that live alongside them.
How You Can Help
HAART’s Outreach Health Clinic proves what is possible when people choose to care. You can be part of that impact. Whether by volunteering, donating, or sharing their story, your support helps protect lives that would otherwise be left behind.
Because changing the life of one animal can change everything.
