A Huge Thank You
At Power of One, we believe real change is built on small acts of kindness and sometimes, those acts take place across a table, one conversation at a time.
Over the bank holiday weekend, Kate Ward, Janet Ward, Elaine Hibbert, Grace, and Erin went above and beyond to support our mission. They organised and ran a tabletop sale at Dixons Brooklands Academy in Manchester, raising vital funds to help us continue the work we do.
But they didn’t just raise money.
They raised awareness.
Flying the Flag for Change
Throughout the day, the team spoke to passersby, answered questions, and shared stories about who we are and why we exist. In doing so, they turned a local event into something far bigger. A platform for compassion, connection, and understanding.
It’s easy to underestimate the power of a simple conversation. Yet this kind of grassroots action is human, honest, and heartfelt. It is what helps us grow. One person at a time. One story at a time.
It might not make headlines. But it makes a difference.
From All of Us Thank You
To Kate, Janet, Elaine, Grace, and Erin: thank you for your time, your energy, and your belief in what we’re building together. You’ve helped carry our message further, and we’re so grateful.
This is what community looks like.
This is what the Power of One really means.
