COULD YOU OFFER THOR THE EXTRA SPECIAL FOREVER FOSTER HOME THAT HE NEEDS?
Two years have passed since Thor was due to board the happy bus to his forever home – and 2 years since fate cruelly halted his destiny.
After being rushed to the vet the night before he was due to leave, Thor was diagnosed with Megaesophagus – basically a grossly enlarged oesophagus which does not do its job of sending food to the stomach.
His condition cannot be cured but careful management by his angels Laura and Bobo has ensured he has grown into a healthy boy who lives a full life.
A strict feeding regime is in place to prevent regurgitation and the potential for aspiration pneumonia. Thor is fed upright with the help of his special chair or by perching on an elevated ledge.
Alongside the millions of other things Laura and Bobo do each day, they selflessly dedicate time to ensuring Thor remains a healthy pup but we really need to ask for his forever home to step up and take on this commitment now.
Alongside managing his ME Thor’s new family will need to invest time and patience into nurturing the confidence of this shy and sensitive young boy. He is the sweetest, gentlest sou but is wracked with anxiety of the smallest change.
Thor is neutered, 3 years old and currently in foster with Laura and Bobo in Romania.
He now really needs a forever foster who can offer
